The Great Park & High Hopes

We went to the Great Park the other day hoping to ride on the free balloon ride.  We were the last to get passes for the day, but the wind picked up, so they cancelled the afternoon rides.  We took a few pics and videos today at High Hopes.  Today was Heather's first day using the LocoMat walking machine.  It was pretty exciting, and even though they typically only have a new "walker" use the machine for 15 minutes, she tolerated it, even seemed to enjoy it, so she walked for about 50 minutes.

Where's the Great Park?  Do they have balloon rides often?

The Great Park is about 2 miles south of us.  It is the old El Toro Marine Corps Air Base.  The balloon rides are Thursday - Sunday and are free; wind or rain cancels.
