So we just got back from our week long spring break vacation to the El Cid Resort, 18 miles south of Cancun Mexico, on the Riviera Maya.  It was a phenomenal trip, our first to the Caribean.  I'm posting 5 albums: 1 - Resort in general, and some random shots of birds and coatimundi's that we saw, 2 - our day trip to Tulum to view the Mayan ruins about an hour south of our hotel, 3 - our day trip to Playa Del Carmen, a town about 45 minutes south of our hotel that is known for its night life, and 5th street shops, closed to all but foot traffic, 4 - bicycle trip into the little town of Puerto Morelos about 1 mile north of our hotel, and 5 - a snorkeling trip that included fresh water cenote and caves, and a fresh water to sea water lagoon, that was also about 40 minutes south of our hotel.
