Hollister Hills MotoX

I have enjoyed escaping the crappy weather up north by spending the Holidays in Nor Cal.  Got out with some old friends to one of my favorite riding spots in Hollister.  I took some pics some of which came out great earlier in the day and blury when it started getting dark.  My friend took some pics of me but none that great (isn't that the way it always is) but better than nothing I guess.  I needed Michelle there to take some good pictures.  Actually since there are no pictures of cute little kids or home remodels most of you will probably be bored to tears.

Interesting. I wasn't bored looking at the pictures, but kept wondering if it scares Robie at all! Ben looked at some of them with me and said it looked fun.

Well, I guess I can't spell blurry but I'm too lazy to edit the posts.

Very cool pics. My friends in High School did a lot of this. Too scary for me as I'm a big ole chicken however love to watch!

I'm still sore from the one time I went and rode in Hollister with Sean, and that was 12 years ago.  Man, Scott's clutch was so stiff, and I pretty much stunk the place up.  But it was so fun!

So, Sean -- you hauled your dirt bike all the way to California, or did you borrow one?

Too bad you can't get action like this up in wet, grey Oregon.  Guess it's time for you and Robie to pack it back up, and head back down to paradise.  This time around, I think a lovely double-wide right in Hollister would be the perfect set up for you and your brood.

Yep, Scott's clutch was horrible.  Bikes these days have very nice soft clutches but can still give you a workout after an all day ride.

You bet I hauled my bikes all the way down.  California has the best riding in North America and I wouldn't pass it up.  I got 2 rides in while I was down here and had a lot of fun.  Dave went with me the first time and was beat after a couple hours.  We had a lot of fun.

As great as the weather has been down here for us I am very depressed at the thought of going back up north.  If I were to move back to CA. I would have to sell all my guns that aren't legal here.  My parents gave me plenty of opportunities in my younger years to enjoy living in a trailer.  I have a lot of Robie's family ready to move out of Oregon.   They are just waiting for me to make the move.

i had  fun pumping my own gas for 2 weeks.  When i got back home, my sodas in the garage had exploded, some jars in the back yard had shattered, and my house was 43 degrees.  The patio furniture is all over the back yard.  Branches all over the place.  HAHA.   I guess it was quite the 2 weeks of weather while I was gone.

Hollister is the best dirt bike park, for sure.  Love that place.

Glad you had a lot of fun moto-xing!!  I think that if I ever got back on a motox bike I would be relegated to a 50cc-er...

Not only did Sean haul his bike to CA, he hauled one for Dave too.  Isn't that nice?  Yeah, Dave was so sore for days after his ride.  Too bad you didn't get shots of Dave doing this.  I really enjoyed these pictures.  Thanks for posting.
