What's the selling point?

How do I invite my friends using this site?

To invite all your friends, there is a Multi Invite tool now. You can find it after logging in on the sidebar of your "my home" page, in the friends section.

Myspace is more of a "social networking" site, I'd say this is more of a stay in touch with the people you already know in real life site. :)  But that's kinda long to say. The key features that differentiate us would be: we're family friends (no slutty advertisements), we're easy to use (myspace is definitely targeted towards a younger more internet/website savvy audience), we're intended to be used by families (hence the ability to define your relationships with all your friends, we try to be bug free (myspace has so many bugs i can't count them, and they never get fixed), we focus more on "photo sharing", and myspace doesn't really have any good way to mass upload photos and share them (that i know of), we have calendaring, i dont think they do, to help remmeber birthdays, and other important events so you don't miss them, acts as a way to have one location to go to find your families/friends contact info/email, addresses, etc, which is handy when you're trying to stay in touch.

Those are just some thoughts off the top of my head, I'm sure there are others.

That was suppose to say "family-friendly". Also, I forgot, we don't allow the customization of member pages for a reason. We don't want all the hard to read, ugly, pink and purple sites with animated stuff flying everywhere. In my opinion, that's great for people that are a bit younger, or looking to differentiate themselves from others, be unique, etc. This is more about having a tool that allows you to keep in touch, and nothing more. I don't want all the fluff that just gets in the way of that goal. You'll typically find that every feature we add here revolves around that same thing, "keeping in touch", and doing it easily.

Sounds like someone is just lazy and doesnt want to do any programming.  BAHAHAHA.  I've never used myspace but it is blocked at my work and I can't use it anyways.  It is a good thing there aren't any 'embarrasing' adds on here that you wouldn't want your family to see.
