I don't think this is an option, but what I want is to be able to say "Send me one email when any of the following occurs (ie new blog, photo, etc.)" Then don't send me any more emails until I've checked the site. I don't really care whether I have a blog and a photo and comments to check, when I go to the site I'll see all of them. That way I'll only get one email instead of 5 when I'm offline for a while.

It does automatically send me one email per event type. So if I say I want notification of new blogs, say, it will send me one email when there's a new blog, and not any more, even if more blogs are added. Which I think is good. But if I also say I want notification of new photo albums, it'll send me a second email when someone posts a photo album. And a 3rd when I get a grapevine comment, and so on.

What I really want is one notification if any of my selections occur. So I'll get one email saying that I have new TurtleFox activity, and then no matter what else gets added, I won't get more emails.

It would still be good to have the option for separate emails for each category, some people want that, but I mainly want one email that says - go check out the site, there's something new.

Thanks, I think the new options are great - give everyone the choice of more or less frequent emails.
