Time to Cash in..

So, this oil refinery in North Salt Lake (maybe you've seen it off the I-15) had a massive explosion today. Watch this video, I swear the guys who edit our bush-league news channels out here in SLC have a sense of humor. Check this random funny-expressioned clip from a distressed woman at 1:01 minutes in the video. I guess If I was sure that an oil company was responsible for damage to my home, I would be making the same demand  too....maybe more. Actually I feel kind of bad now becuase I watched the rest of the video and people's houses were knocked off their foundation, and really jack-up, plus this lady's place got worked. Still this is crazy stuff...I didn't feel anything in my office here in Sandy.

Yikes...that sucks for those people's houses. That's a lot of damage.

I'm glad we didn't buy a house there. That was one of the places we looked.

Time for some people to get their money back from the oil refineries.  Sue for 50 trillion dollars.

That is sad but it sounded like the refinery was there before the houses, right?

Ya that refinery has been there for years.

Why they would have allowed houses that close to a refinery is sheer madness.  The people I have felt sorry for in the past are home owners who were there first and then something like an airport expands and they have planes flying directly over their homes.  I guess after thought is more revealing then fore thought.
