so yeah, just converted the posting boxes over to "tinymce", which is a lot better. Hopefully its more intuitive and pasting links and stuff is easier. Next project is to fix the image upload tool.....that might take some time.

Is it possible for the movie to not stop when you hit the submit your comment bar so you can type while you are listening to the movie?

no, you would need to use AJAX which would send a real-time update to the server while never leaving the page.  Probably can't do that with this tinymce thing.

Yep, it changed as I posted it. Now I just have to figure out how to upload photos into my blogs, I guess.

Nice job.  So are you getting any donations for the server/hosting/maintenance/storage for this website or are you just eating all the costs Jay out of the goodness of your heart?  Just thought I would put that out there....

That's very neat that you can put the videos on TF!  I too, like TF better than Facebook....although I've just joined Facebook and am still learning about it...of course I'm still learning about TF too!

Of course right after I add this feature, youtube is having some serious problems on their site today so now this page isn't loading so well any more. I believe to date I have received about $200 in donations from 2-3 people. thanks for donating, you know who you are!

The server costs me $225/month to host, but I also use it for other sites like www.freeprintable.com and other contract work, so its hard to say exactly how much TF costs each month to keep it up and running. Probably about $100/month is what it would cost to put it on its own server. Then again, freeprintable.com doesnt pay me for hosting either...so i guess i'm just getting the raw end of the deal.

To be honest, the amount of time TF saves me from the old days of maintaining bop123 is substantial.

Lastly, I've also updated the email notifications to be a bit more informative about what was posted to turtlefox. emails should include the name of the blog/photo album now.

I was going to add that there are 14 new words added to the English language every day.  The millionth english word, that we just hit recently, is Web2.0

if i add some words, i wonder if it formats the page better.  without words, it was pretty messed up.
