Our Experience

Submitted by kylie on Thu, 06/10/2010 at 6:13pm.

One day, when my mom went out to race, me, tay, and Valorie went to my house to swim. Well, the door was locked and grandmas keys didn't work, so i had to go in theback and get the spair key, when we got inside I set the key on the table so I could go get my backpack, but when I got back, Taylor had shut the door and locked us inside! She shut the door because of the neighbor caught fella in his yard again. Anyways, we were locked out. So we went to Valorie's house to swim in her blow-up pool. But, grandma's pool was in the attic, wich we couldn't get to because Brads car was in the way. So we ended up on Grandmas slide with a hose on it, with our clothes on, and we weren't even playing ON it, just around it. So, we just went inside an watched TV on a 78 degree day. To make matters worse, my dad didn't bring a KEY to WORK, either. So we were in a total jam, at grandmas house, with nothing to do. So, after that our dad picked us up and we tried to figure this out, we tried to stick a shovel through our doggy-door to try and move the door-stopper to open the door. Well, that didn't work so we tried something different. We took out the screen of a window and the window was already half open, and my dad pushed it open and Taylor climbed through! We finally got inside the house. That is our experience.

Doobie

Tell Grandma that the key to the Studebaker is always in it, and she could have backed it out for you. And this weekend is the Summerfest Carnival and I can get you rides on all the attractions, so you won't be bored much longer! The Studebaker will be in the car show all day.

In case you didn't know Valorie is also the grandma.  I was laughing so hard when I read this but believe me I wasn't laughing at the time.  What a day.  I have keys to their house but they never told me they changed the locks and my new key was inside.  Great story, Doobie--too bad it was true.

Doobie

Grandma learned how to drive the Studebaker and backed it out today. She did it all without a hitch, caught on right away. So we can now get things down from the attic that you can play with when you are here. The pool is already in the backyard. (Pretty soon we will have more money into that car than it would have cost us to put in a brand new in ground pool).

AND LET ME JUST POINT OUT, that all of this ridiculousness is because our neighbor is a bungholio.  If he wasn't threatening to arrest our cat, then we wouldn't have had to worry about Fella getting out of the house.  AND, we wouldn't have the doors/keys issue if he wasn't a total tool, because our landlord mentioned that this neighbor had a key to the house, so we had to have the locks changed, which meant Valorie no longer had a key that worked.  Thanks, Mr. Neighbor DorkFace.  Oh yah, hope you enjoy the dead mice i fling on your roof now.

We were thinking that the intruder which Len caught in your back yard was probably your beloved cat hating neighbor, chasing or following Fella back into your yard. We also think he is the scoundrel who called the cops to issue parking warnings on the street just because Jodie was hosting a baby shower. This guy must have retired too young  and doesn't have a life or hobby, except to make others miserable. Yes, leaving him with a key to your place would have been a terrible security risk, even if you asked for it back  from him (he might have made a copy to keep). Fella is a delightful kitty with no priors. He is not a BT Boy-type.

I really wish that neighbor would just suck it up, and picking up cat poo would be his hobby. Another thing is, that he could have his family come over and see who could pick up the moost poo, and whoever did, would get twenty- five bucks.

There is a solution to his problems.

haa haa... doobie you are so much like your dad it's SCAREY!!  The whole ordeal was kind of my fault too because I lost my keys and Geoff took the spare keys that day  without a new house key on them

That happend to us. Camryn some how locked the door on the inside and came out so we were stuck in the play house for 2 1/2 hours until my mom came home. The bad thing was she didnt know we were ot  there so half the time she was in the house on the computer. We were stuck outside with Lucy our new dog and Ferb our guinea pig.
