New Central Air

Submitted by Brad on Mon, 05/11/2009 at 9:37am.

Our new Central Air system is up and running and does it ever cool our house! So all of you who have had to endure those miserable summers at our home with no pool and no air can chalk that up to history. We might even add some ducts to the summer room, but that room usually cools down well in the evening with the windows open. So come on out this summer, rooms are always available!! And Deja loves company, too--so bring the hounds with you.

Enjoy the cool - can't believe you were surviving without for so long, especially with all the warm weather you've had there.

We are pretty close to the ocean and alot of homes don't have AC in our area. We get a pretty good breeze most evenings. Our RE broker said it will add absolutley zero to our house's value. Not that we intend to sell anyhow, but I would have felt better about spending the $$ if I knew there would ever be a ROI The stimulus rebate was a great incentive, though.

Well, I hope so! Now we'll have to get a pool, too (small chance of that......)

Nice!! It's funny how much you appreciate central air after you have lived without it. I don't think I'll ever take our central air for granted here in our house - our condo just had one window unit and it would get SO SO hot, so much that I would get sick to my stomach. Air conditioning is a wonderful thing.

hahhah I knew Lynh would be happy.  I tested it out last weekend and it felt wonderful!  Nobody else was hot, but of course the pregnant lady was sweating, so the air come on.  Love it.
