I was trying to remember what year it was - it was some time between 1999-2003, because that is when Pippen was on the Blazers.  And i remember selling the Trail Blazer leather jacket at the garage sale we had when we were moving from Hillsboro.  My guess is 2000.

And yah, i posted it on YouTube because i just found it buried in a directory with old family pics.  And Sean, you could not have made that shot in 100 years.   Neither could Brent.

So how much did you get for the leather jacket? I can't believe you sold it instead of keeping it to treasure the memory forever :-)

it was valued at $200, and i think i sold it for $25.  Yah, i shoulda kept it, or given it to another Severson.

I don't have video of my commercial, I don't know that it even exists anymore. Too old, I suppose, nobody had VCRs back then. I do have a few copies of the TV Guide that has a still shot from the ad, though.

I love that video every time I watch it.  Your the man Geoffy.  So fun.  I emailed it to Dave so he can check it out because we've talked about it so many times.

Scottie, I figured you or Geoff would have posted that already.....for all of you who haven't been told this part of the story, it is pretty freaky.  The guy to Geoff's left, who hands him the basketball, and pats him on the shoulder when he makes it is my ex-boyfriend.  He was my high school sweetheart and we dated for some 5 years+.  Actually, we were together at this time, which I believe is 200-2001-ish.  I spoke to him that night, or the next day, and he said while he was at work some guy made a "shot in the dark" on his first try.  He said the crowd went crazy, and he had to tap the guy on the shoulder to let him know he made the basket.  By May 2001 we were done and I had just met Scottie, my luv.  It wasn't until months later that Scott was telling me about Geoff and a Blazer game, and making a shot blind-folded.  I put it all together, and then we had Geoff show us the video.  So crazy!  Small world!  Honestly though, it creeps me out a little that this happened!  What are the odds?  I guess it was meant to be!!!! Love you luv!

oh my gosh!  That is a CRAZY story.  I never heard that story.  Hhahahahh that's unbelievable.  Kind of goes along with the theory that everybody knows everyone within relationships of 6 people or less.  However that statement goes.

Wow! That is really funny/crazy!! I love all those odd coincidences where you figure out you've met someone before, or know someone who knows someone, or run into someone in the oddest place. Jodi, I heard that you ran into Nick Kohlmeyer in some small town in Idaho or something. True? If so, that is really crazy too.

Just took another look at the video to see Michelle's ex -- Scotty is WAAYY cuter. That other guy had too much hair.

hahhaha Ya Scotty's cuter.  A couple years ago I went to "point of the mountain" in Utah, which is between SLC and Provo,  to an outdoor rec store called Cabellas.  Walking around with my husband and his parents and run into Nick, Andrew, and Stuart!  Wow, crazy.  hahhaha hadn't seen Stuart in forever so that was nice to chat for a bit.  If I remember correctly they were going fishing in Northern Utah and Idaho?  Can't remember.  what a coincidence.

Michelle, that was a NEAT story--that is the first time I have heard that too.  IS that the guy that caused Scott to come to CA without you when you were dating?

Geoff is always sneaky...You sure that blindfold is dark enough to cover your eyes completely geoff? If not, then I smell cheaters!

actually the blindfold was so tight it was moving my contacts in my eyeballs, making it twice as hard to shoot.  so yah, i'm just that dang good, folks.

Talk about amazing...I once made a layup during one of my HS basketball games, got fouled, and made the free throw for a 3-point play. Sorry, don't have any video of it though. I think that set a career scoring record for my high school basketball days. and of course it was during junk time after the coach had subbed in all the losers (me).

I actually did put in a request on the Judge Judy website that if it was ever rerun, I was to be notified by email. I've never been notified, so I guess it's never been rerun?
