Miss Teen USA requires intelligence

I already sent this to some of you, but its really worth seeing. Watch the first girl from South Carolina. And if you can figure out her answer, you deserve to win the crown yourself.

Three of the other 4 girls give pretty deep, intelligent answers as well. One girl went down to Canada and risked snowboarding there.

I thought it was pretty clear that US Americans (as opposed to other Americans) culd use some maps because the educashun in asia and south africa culd use some, uh, I forget. But she is a shining example of American educashun!

Lopez (the host) told People Magazine he wanted to help Upton, but was instructed not to talk to the contestants while they were answering.

"It was a very intense moment. It's live TV. You don't know what the question is until you get up there. And I believe that she misunderstood it. She went down the wrong road and couldn't figure out how to get back to the right one," he said. "I felt really badly for her."

Yeah...like it was a really complicated question....she would have been better off not answering at all! The risk taking question was a little wordy, and while she was answering it I forgot what the second part to his questioin was....but Ms.SCarolina doesn't have an excuse!

Who ended up winnning anyways?

Some of the questions were harder than others. What they should of done is had all of the contestants go to different rooms. Then they should of had them come out one at a time and answer the same question. That way it's easier to compare.

(down to Canada? They are not helping defeat the streotype of beautiful people being stupid.)
