Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year

As part of our "Save the Trees" initiative of going "e" this year, we've decided an eCard would be most appropriate. The years are flying by so fast that it still feels like it was just yesterday the world was coming apart at the seems worrying about the Y2K bug. Hard to believe Mailynn is already 5 and Kai is 2 going on 3 in just a few weeks.
Mailynn is now in kindergarten and LOVING every minute of it. She doesn't start until 10:25 every morning, but by 9am she's ready to go and will ask regularly every 5 minutes, "Is it time to go yet?" As parents we couldn't be happier that she loves school so much. She's got a pretty full schedule already, soccer practice on Saturdays, where she's only happy if she scores a goal during scrimmage, gymnastics on Friday morning before school, and singing lessons Thursday evenings. She recently went to the broadway musical Shrek in San Francisco with her mom and dad, and had a really good time.
Kai is being all the boy he can be these days. Loves to terrorize his older sister, break anything that looks breakable, growl around the house pretending to be a lion, smash cars, rip up paper, jump on unsuspecting parents, etc. His favorite toy is any toy that Mailynn wants to play with.
Lynh says keep it short...so she does all that women of the 2010 era do...everything. This super mom gets kids ready, works a full day, helps out at Mailynn's school, acts as a regular chauffeur for all of the kids activities, cooks dinner of course, and reassures her needy husband that he's better looking than Jake Gyllenhal.
Since it feels super weird to write in the 3rd person, when everyone knows I'm the one writing this....its been a year off for me....from golf that is. Decided to try my hand at a new startup this year, and thats where I've been spending most of my time. It's been fun having a real office with real coworkers, and as such I've taken a keen interest in office ping pong. I have enjoyed quite a few nights of gaming till the sun comes up with the bro's/friends/cousins playing the much awaited Starcraft 2.
That's the short and sweet of what's been happening at our household over the last year. For whatever reason, maybe because we've been a little glee inspired, we decided to try our own hand at just how cheezball we could be as a family..hope you enjoy the video!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Years!
