Let's Play the Feud!

I would like to play Family Feud as a NSBS.

I volunteer Ben as an SBS! He LOVES the show Family Fued (and used to watch it every morning while in grad school).

I have some thoughts on this. I would like as much as possible for the activities to be tied to the 6 teams, so we can build enthusiasm and support for the teams. Therefore, I am hoping we can set this up so the 6 team captains play and one additional person from each team plays. So there would be two people from each team playing, and 3 teams per "side" for the initial rounds. One "side" (3 teams) will win in the regular game, then each of the 3 teams from the winning side would have one of their contestants play the final lightning round. The 3 contestants would be playing against each other in the lightning round to determine team points, so in our version, it wouldn't matter if a previous person had already given an answer. We now have 6 volunteers for captain (Brent, Allen, Greg, Michelle, Cami and JoAnn) so they would be 6 contestants, and we need one additional from each team. So Valorie could be the additional person from her team. I was thinking all the players s/b NSBS, but that doesn't have to be the case. I do really want them to correlate with the 6 teams, though, so Laura I hope we can make that change instead of it being SBS vs. NSBS. I know this means I need to put together the teams so we can figure out who the additional players would be. I can do this today or tomorrow, or if someone wants to volunteer to put together the teams, I can give them the list of current attendees.

Ok, sorry for being too quick to post before getting the details.  If you want to be one of the players, still let me know, but we're going to try and stick with the team theme, so we'll pick players based on teams.  So no promises. :-)

Hope I didn't scare people off from volunteering to play. On second thought, I don't know if the team captains necessarily have to play -- just two people from each team. So I'm sure we can work it so Ben S., Alesha & Valorie all play, and by all means if you would like to play, please post here. We'd like it to be an "all volunteer" game!

I DON'T want to be in the hot seat, but I can't wait to see the feud! I nominate my dear captain, Michelle :)

I've heard from a few captains, and here's the line-up so far: Ben S. and Robie will play for JoAnn's team, Cami & Pam will play for Cami's team, Valorie and Aimee will play for Brent's team. Alesha will play for Greg's team, but he's still looking for another player. Maybe it should be Melissa since she did all the work last time? Haven't yet heard from Michelle or Allen.

Ok, No one have a heart-attack, but I am actually on Turtle fox AND posting something!  I just wanted to say go Ben and Robie!  Also, i really think our team should have a tag sign.  I've got all these cans of spray paint packed in my suitcase already set to represent ourselves on the buildings of Arah-wannah!  Oh wait... sorry, sometimes my Escondido roots start showing!  maybe a team name would be better than Graffitti?

Haven't had a chance to see the teams yet -- who is my captain?  can't wait for the reunion, and I'd love to play the Feud, but don't want anyone to think I'm competitive!

Yes, Allen is your captain but I know he hasn't gotten around to asking who wants to do the feud yet. Scott, do you want to volunteer? I know Charlotte discouraged siblings from doing it, since they got to participate last year, but maybe we should make an exception for (non-competitive :-) Brandt.

haha, I dont know if I can handle that stress.  JK.  I will do it if no one else really wants to.

I'll play for my team if you don't get two signups, but I'm really volunteering as an alternate because sometimes I don't know what comes out of my mouth!  hahhaa

I've looked at the teams now, and we are obviously STACKED for victory!!  (Good thing I'm not competitive . . .)
