Last nights American Idull

Submitted by geoff on Thu, 02/01/2007 at 1:30pm.

Okay, even my wife commented how boring the show is getting.  They have filled the show with idiots, with no chance of winning.  And it hit an all-time low with the large black couple that was in love and kissing.  They spent 10 minutes on them, neither was funny, neither of them were psycho, and neither one could sing.  They must be really hard up for content, if after 20-30 hours of filming, the editors selected that 10 minute clip to air live.

Blah...  get on with the competition.  Enough audtions.

The auditions used to be the best part.  Now they focus too much on finding the worst people possible.  Did you watch Seattle?  They spent about 10 minutes on these two guys that met each other while standing in line.  Both were horrible, one had to be special ed.  I feel like this show is now centered around, at least during auditions, taking people who are already socially awkward and unaccepted and recreating a mini-world in which these people experience similiar pain from the judges that they already experience in daily life.  I'm not a fan.  Watch Greys instead.

Is there anyone on the Sharks that can compare to McDreamy?

Jay, I am not babysitting Mailynn so you can watch the Sharks game.  We are going to organize the garage, the kitchen, the upstairs and the toys.

Whatever, there really is just too much crap on TV to watch.  My wife still watches real world road rules if you can believe that.  My vote for the worst commercials is the military channel.  I can't believe that people watching the military channel would be interested in a 15 minute commercial on the Ionic Breeze.

Bones is a great show but last night it was a little graphic.  I'm also a huge Law & Order fan.  I can't watch much of Idol.  I do get a kick out of the people who have no talent and get mad when they are turned down.

Yes, two chicks that were really good.  Not as many total idiots.  One girl sung her entire song with her tongue like in the way, so u could barely understand what she was saying.

I was just going to ask what the heck happened to her.  I didn't get to watch much this week just saw some of the final cuts and noticed she wasn't in the "top 24"... my two "favorites" are both gone.  Not that I really care all that much or buy the CD's when the people actually make their records.  Okay, I admit--I do own some Clay Aiken--but it's the Christmas album.  Really...that's all.

I have to say the all-time low for American Idol this season was during the last episode of the auditions. The most interesting thing they had to show was that one of the doors leading out of the audition room was always locked. So basically they have a 2-minute little montage of upset people leaving the auditions and Simon saying "wrong door." This is the perfect example of how much of that show is crap filler.
