I'll also go with #3, agreeing with the crowd. If #2 is the answer, they better be some pretty nice jewels to make it worth it!

1. Use raw meat, steak to distract the dog actually worked very well.  One person holds it at a far position on the fence, and the other person was able to go in the gate and get the jewels and get out.
2. Douse yourself in wolf urine.  This was measured as PLAUSIBLE.  They only had a rag with some on it, but it definitely made the dog hesitate.  They figured if you really doused yourself in it, head to toe, it might actually work.
3. Use a towel covered in urine from a female dog in heat to distract the dog.  Used the same as the meat, with someone off to the side distracting the dog.  But this was the top finisher.  It worked AMAZINGLY well.  The dog never even glanced over at the person going in the gate.  Was digging under the fence trying to get ahold of that rag.
4. Get on your hands and knees and crawl in.  Failed, would just get you killed.
5. "Get big and scary", using a loud voice and raised hands.  Also failed - would just get you killed.

I think a bunch of us get prizes for this one, go #3!

Although good luck getting a hold of a either wolf urine or urine from a female dog in heat.

haha, funny you say that.  They mentioned you could buy wolf urine on the internet, in bottles.  Just thought you should know!!
