For those wondering, Deja went to the Vet Hospital this morning (I took her) due to her breathing/wheezing problems and constant coughing. Also, she hasn't taken any water for 2 days.  They X Rayed her lungs and the results showed some clouding-not good. She might just have a bad case of bronchitis, but they won't know for sure until all tests come in tomorrow. She had to be injected with 200cc of fluids. She's over 8 years old now, so there is concern. We are watching her carefully. She is home and resting comfortably now. Doing better than yesterday, even walked a bit with us  this morning but was very afraid of the Vet when I took her in the room.

It sounds like she enjoyed her time more as an inmate than as a patient at the vet.

Deja doesn't trust Vets--but she loved being in the room with the birds and rabbitts in cages.

Update on Deja--she completed a full walk today--no wheezing. Taking her medication and eating tons of food. Still doesn't like water, but will take it with her food. She is at home waiting by the phone for the Vet to call with her test results.

Try giving her Koolaid.  Orange and Lemonade Koolaid mix tastes just like Tang.

Deja has several ailments--pancreatitis, a thyroid condition, and an upper respiratory infection. She's not in any danger and should be OK. The pancreatitis was probably caused by something she ate that she should not have (they say 99% of the time its from trash). She's going back for more meds tomorrow. Today she seems fine, but we want to make sure she gets all she needs to recover fully.

I'm beginning to suspect that you 2 are taking out life insurance policies on your pets before adding lethal doses of antifreeze to their cat/dog food.

Haha, this dog's med costs  -will be unbelievable.  We need an Odoggacare plan really badly. Too many uninsured pets. But she is worth every dollar.

BT Boy died from the swiffer thing, licking the cleaning product up with his kitty treats that were sitting on the floor.  Poor BT.

Deja is completely on the mend. She chased a cat yesterday and also went after Kenzie last night. Kenzie held her own, though.Fella has been a great sparring partner for Kenzie.
