I was going to say, I figured it out, but I don't want to ruin the fun for anyone else. I'll send it to Alyssa directly.

Right! Thanx. A hint is "look down." Two people, Aimee and Scotty, already have it.

Well... since most people who wanted to figure it out already sent mail to me I'll just tell you what it is.  If you look down at your keyboard you'll see that the letters to the right of the letter I put up there spell something. For instance: frogs would be deifa! So my code says: I love dogs!!! How 'bout you?

I actually figured out the first part of the code without understanding how it translated.  I knew it said "I love dogs."  Since she talks nonstop about them, it wasn't difficult to figure out.

Yes, I have to admit too that the I Love Dogs part kind of jumped out at me, and then I figured out the rest. I hadn't picked up on the keyboard shift, though, just knew it was a substitution cipher.

The problem is this doesn't work if you have Q, A, or Z in your original message because tab, caps lock, and shift aren't really letters.

That's probably why she said 'bout instead of about. Although really it should have been ;viyr if you shift the apostrophe over, too.

You could also wrap around to the other side, so may Q to P, A to L, and Z to M.

Your right, I didn't use "about" because of the a. I had to think of a message that didn't have any a's. And your also right that I forgot to do ; instead of '. (Just to prove how hard it is to think of message without A's, I counted how many a's there are in this comment. The total is:20)
