christmas eve

Submitted by Franky on Wed, 12/12/2007 at 11:30am.

As is the tradition we will expect the family to be congregating at our house for Christmas Eve.  Will have ham and probably a turkey roast also.  So anything you would like to add to that would be welcome.  Please let me know if you are planning on being here and what you would be bringing.  Of course i will make the traditional Wassal.  (sp.?)   You can either answer on Turtle Fox or on my E-mail which is Frances.severson@Gmail .com Of course there is good old Ma Bell too.  503-925-0534.

Sounds fun!  Wish we could be there!  But, alas, we will be in San Diego, enjoying the warmth and sunshine!!

We will be there and are looking forward to it! Did you have a specific time planned for dinner? We'll bring something, let me talk to Allen and I'll post again.

I'm planning on coming and will bring my usuals... a Christmas trivia questionnaire and my beautiful baritone voice to accompany Shelley's so-so Caroling around the Spinnet (Kawai, but that's not in the song).

So sad....uncle troy, I do love that trivia questionnaire...but only cuz I won something....and to be honest...i haven't read my book yet, though it stares me down everything i glance at the bookshelf, and I think of the christmas party and I got the least amount of questions right...makes me smile!  Thanks uncy troy! :)  Love you guys...wish we could be there, but we'll most likely be battling a storm at the coast!

Hey Troy - it's carols AT the spinet (and what song is that from?)  How 'bout a trivia game all about the songs (i.e., one I could win!)

All the Bigelows (minus one thyroid) will be there.  Greg may still be sporting his new beard!  I know that Brittany will want to bring something fancy so I will let her answer for us.

Also, I would really like some kid (or adult/kid) entries for the family sharing of musical talents - especially if someone has a special request they want to sing that I might need music for....

Can't wait to see everyone

We will be there, and we will bring something. Maybe a fruit salad or a veggie tray? I could sing, but I don't think anyone wants to hear it. I'll try to make Leah sing something. Troy, how do you brine a salad?

Hmm, I'm sure Gabriella would be happy to favor us with her rendition of Rudolph on the piano, but not a lot of singing volunteers from our family. I guess Michael and Gabriella also enjoyed singing in the stake choire, so maybe they'd go for a duet, but I'd better not commit them :-) If you have Little Drummer Boy music, Shelley, bring that along and we'll try to coax them into it.

I didn't specify a time although 5:30 would probably be good . What do you all think.  Loved all the answers I gotten already.  Charlotte if you think you sing badly you wouldn't want to hear me.

Carol and I are in, and I think Nicole and kids are planning on coming....can't answer for the boys I am no longer 'privi' to their plans, however, I would like to see them again sometime? Sounds like salad and veggies are covered, we can bring dinner rolls, OK?

So far I have responses that add up to 23 adult, 7 teenagers and about 15 younger kids and babies.  So this will give you an idea of what your portions should be.  Still may hear from others but so far that is the count.

I may be bringing three additional adults, my mom, her husband Elroy and his son Joel.  Sorry, but I won't know for sure until Monday if mom will be feeling up to it.
