Billy Goat

As some of you have heard, we have had a very stressful happening.  The demise of Floyd's dearly beloved walk behind sickle mower.  It broke to the point of no reapair. It has been a very handy piece of equiment for him as it really helped to keep down the tall grass between the fruit trees on the west side of our property.  Also keeping the grass down along the street outside  the Burm, and various other places that are not accessable with the ride on Mower.

We have decided to replace this equipment with a Billy Goat.  They are low to maintain, easliy moved from place to place, can get into small areas and take care of very tall grass as well as small brush and blackberries.  We all know how much Troy enjoyed the little Billy he had as a pet one summer.

Now don't be alarmed.  We have researched this option very carefully.

For you information the model number is  HW651SP with a 5 Horsepower Kawasaki motor and is called a Billy Goat High Weed Mower and is made by the Billy Goat Ind. in Missouri

Had you going didn't we!!!    Love Mom and Dad   Grandpa and Grandma.

Ha Ha, yep I was already picturing this goat with a beard getting tangled in his rope and you having to go move it every few hours in the rain and  finding someone to care for it everytime you left town.  Sounds like you got a great replacement.  I like that description of a high weed mower.

Having that old sickle mower break down was probably the best thing to ever happen to Grandpa.  When we were out last year helping with yardwork several of us tried our hand at running that thing.  My father in law was through with it in just a few minutes.  Scott was the only one who could hang on to it long enough to get anything cut.  Grandpa is the man for being able to handle that thing longer than any of us could.  May it finally R.I.P. for good.

Sorry Emily  But you wouldn't have gotten milk from a Billy only a Nanny.  Used to buy goat's milk for jennifer when she was little.  Never tasted it mysself.
