Bedtime conversations with Mailynn

Just found our bedtime conversations this evening rather amusing, so thought I'd share. My comments are in blue, hers in red.

If I have a bad dream, can I sleep in your room?

Yeah, if you have a bad dream, you can sleep in mommy and daddy's room, but tonight you're going to dream about Princesses, and squirrels, and bunnies....AND BARBIE...

No, Barbie's not a princess.

Oh? What happened to Barbie?

She died in the forest.

Oh, ok..........(thinking, do I even want to touch that? Whats all this talk about dying lately?). Whats the princesses name?

There are only two princesses, sheeba and sheeksee. You can't touch them. But you can touch their dresses.

Grandma on phone: What are you doing Mailynn?

Mai: Cleaning the house.

Why?

Cause it is sooooo dirty.

Another one in Robie's suburban with me in the front passenger seat with Kasey and Ally in the far back,--Ally screaming cause her seat belt is too tight, Travis screaming in the middle cause he wants a bottle, Sammy and Mai in the middle just sitting quietly listening to it all as we wait for Robie to get the bottle and get in the car. I turned slowly to Mai and ask what she thought about all this? Her reply. "It is not good".
