Back in a cast

With my claustrophobia in check, I hope, the cast had to be put back, because I just wouldn't heal right without it. After spending a day in bed with my foot feeling like it was burning from the inside out, the answer was clear that a cast was the only solution. At least I got to have the waterproof cast Mom said ,that was the kind that Megan wears also, so at least alittle more freedom is there. I doubt I'll be swimming like Megan will, but the showers are great. Medicine has come along was since plaster of paris.

That is how we address our fears--just think of Paris Hilton--how she rose above her claustrophobia once she realized she had to stay in that jail cell and there was no way around it. Nice role model for you, Carol. ha ha ha

I was so relieved to see the tongue in cheek answer emerge by the middle of the above statement, Valorie. For a minute, I thought you were serious.

Carol, I'm just really glad you have not gotten hooked on the past time of me and your husband -- it would be a little hard to live with either of us if we could not golf. However, you're probably getting more crocheting done than ever!! Make the best of it, and make Tim wait on you hand and foot!!

Carol having expeienced casts several times in my life my heart goes out to you. Hope you can hang in there though and get that foot healed. Love you.
