Animal Crossing

i hate to admit, but i am addicted to this cheezy game.  any of you people with the Wii have this game?  Kylie and Taylor love it, and kept begging  me to make a character and play a little.  And now that I've figured it out, it is a lot of fun.

Any of you have it?

No but I'll look for it at Blockbuster next time we're there. I think we've rented almost all the games...we bought a month pass for unlimited game and movie rental so we're trying them all. Right now we have Barnyard but haven't played it yet so don't know if its any good. I think I remember seeing Animal Crossing so I'll go get it.

probably not a good "renter", cuz the fun thing about it, is that it changes day to day.  so you really only log in and play it for maybe 15-20 minutes, then its fun to wait until tomorrow, and play the new day.   so, kind of cool cuz it isn't much fun to sit and play for hours and hours, but just a few minutes each day.

That's different. Well we can keep the game as long as we want, no deadline so I'll try it out.

My kids have it; they had it for the GameCube and got a version for the DS. I can't remember whether they have the newest Wii one or not. Anyway, the kids all love it, but I haven't tried it yet. Looks pretty cute, though.

yah, like most Wii games, the graphics are pretty lame.  But inside the game, there are so many things to do:  growing plants, catching fish and insects, investing, mortgages to build bigger homes, making friends, digging for fossils, donating to the museum, much more.  its pretty addicting.

It sounds a lot like the old Sims games for the computer.

Yeah Geoff I hate to admit it but I put in a ridiculous amount of hours on the original Game Cube version of Animal Crossing.  One of those games that you somehow get sucked into and then end up looking back and saying "What just happened?  A man in his late 20s could not possibly be the target audience for that game.  I need help."

I did like playing the game and if we had a Wii I would play it all the time.  I was also a fan of Sims until I started using cheats.
